About Chuck Cissel Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Chuck Cissel is a multi-talented artist with a background in Broadway and dance. Broadway Roots: Before his solo recording career, he was a member of the original cast of the legendary musical A Chorus Line and performed in productions such as Hello Dolly and Purlie. Arista Era: He recorded two notable albums for Arista Records: Just For You (1979) and If I Had The Chance (1982). Both tracks on this Expansion 45 were originally featured on his 1979 debut. Cultural Contribution: Beyond his music, Cissel served as the CEO and Artistic Director of the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame, dedicated to preserving the American art form of jazz.
