Heart Of Gold
Won’t You Be My Lady
Just A Little Love
Never Gonna Give You Up
Tough Enough
No More Cold Nights
You Turn Me Out
Just Begun To Know You
Burning Inside Your Love
Still Waiting

The late Bert Robinson was one of the shining lights of late 80s soul, managing the divide between the classic soul of previous decades with a new musical style in r&b ahead of 90s new jack swing.
Championed by One Way featuring Al Hudson, Bert Robison was recognized locally in Detroit by winning a TV talent show on his vocal prowess, then taken to Capitol Records the year Al Hudson and his partners started a production company and arrived at the same label.
“Heart of Gold” was a Top 5 r&b chart smash in the USA while songs like “Just A Little Love” were championed by the UK soul fraternity leading to the demand in the album it enjoys through to this day.
Copies of the previously Capitol issued American CD of this album dried up some years ago and exchanges hands for small fortunes on the collectors scene. For those who enjoyed the music embraced by artists such as Luther Vandross, Teddy Pendergrass, Keith Washington and Miles Jaye during the mid to late 80s period, this album is essential.
